Nathaniel Robins, a sea coal seller, issued this trade token, worth a half penny, for his business at the Haymarket, Middlesex.
Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 1336; Obv inscription: NATHANIELL. ROBINS. AT. THE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = SEA / COALE / SELLER / 1666 (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: HAYMARKET.IN.PICKADILLA (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY / 1666 (in four lines of Roman capitals, in field).
