Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 871; Obv inscription: ANN.HOW.1657 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = The Fruiterers' arms (in field); Rev inscription: IN.DREWRY.LANE (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = A.H (in field, in Roman capitals).

The arms of the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers are: Azure on a mount vert the tree of Paradise, environed with a serpent, between Adam dexter and Eve sinister, all proper (J. Drury Lane, lies in the London borough of Camden, and the City of Westminster; it previously lay within Middlesex.
