Boyne & Williamson (1889) reference London number 362; Obv inscription: ELIZEVS.SOVTHERN.1667 (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = HIS / HALFE / PENNY (in three lines of Roman capitals, in field); Rev inscription: IN.BLOOMSBERY.MARKETT (around field, in Roman capitals) Device = E.S.S. (triad of initials in Roman capitals, in field).
