Livery badge in the form of a hart (deer) in an enclosure, dated to the 14th century. This symbol may be associated with the Sir Thomas Markenfield (it features on his effigy in Ripon cathedral) or the Neville family (based on a c. 1440 illumination showing members of the Neville family wearing similar livery collars).
