After the invasion of AD 43, Britain was becoming increasingly Romanised and connected with the wider empire. This produced a demand for new goods and commodities, subsequently trade increased massively. Building materials, jewellery, food and clothing from all over the Empire flowed into Britannia in much greater numbers than they had previously.
