Copper, copper alloy, harness mount
A copper alloy harness mount. The surface of the mount is inscribed with an unidentified figure etched into the leather.
Decorations were attached to the leather harness of the cavalry horse. The cavalry formed part of the auxiliary troops, the standing non-citizen corps of the Roman army.
