Animal remains, animal bone, sword, sword handle
An incomplete bone handle from a legionary sword, or gladius, split laterally, but complete in length with a circular hole for the tang. There are three intermediate lateral ridges acting as finger grips but the facetted handle is worn and the ridges less pronounced.
