Padlock, barge padlock
Iron barge padlock. Protruding ridge on back, made of a vertical line bisecting a circle. Front and back plates protrude over casing. Hasp is fixed open. On the back of the lock is marked a 'R' or reverse '9'. Recovered from the Thames foreshore at the north side of Southwark Bridge.
