File, round bastard file - 14"
A 44cm 'bastard' simgle cut file by Tyson of Sheffield, from the workshop of Davey & Co., ship chandlers in the West India Dock Road, Tower Hamlets. A 'bastard' file was so called because the coarseness of its teeth were between fine and coarse cut.
