Peg, tent peg
Wooden tent peg with curving shaft. It is broad in the middle and tapers to a point. The curving head has been cut out to form a notch. The body has a trapezoidal section, changing to rectangular as it nears the point. There is a natural curve to the wood grain.
Although not from central London, this wooden tent peg is included for the purpose of comparison.
