Complete Peterborough ware bowl (Mortlake style) of a fairly thin, hard-fired dark fabric with a flat-topped rim. Decoration consists of an all-over external pattern of notched impressions making a horizonal herringbone. Similar impressions radially on the rim. Found in the Thames at Barn Elms in 1908.
