A copper alloy contemporary copy of a Roman radiate (barbarous radiate) of Emperor Tetricus I, ruler of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 271-274. This coin was made c. AD 275-285.
Obv: Radiate head of Tetricus I, facing right. Obv inscription: ...TRICVS... . Rev: Worn. Rev inscription: Illegible. Part of a hoard from Newgate Street, City of London.
