A copper alloy nummus of an unidentified Roman emperor. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted c. AD 388-402.
Obv: Bust. Obv inscription: Illegible. Rev: Victory, advancing left, dragging a captive by the hair. Rev inscription: [SALVS REIPVBLIC(A)E].
Found scattered in a stokehole of a small hypocaust in the east wing of Billingsgate Bath House, Lower Thames Street, London EC3 [City of London].
