A copper alloy nummus of the House of Constantine, the ruling dynasty of the Roman Empire, AD 306-364. Struck to commemorate the deceased emperor Constantine I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 306-337. The back of the coin depicts Constantine on a quadriga. This coin was minted in AD 337-341.
Obv: Draped and veiled bust of Constantine I, facing right. Obv inscription: DIVO CON[STANTINVS P T A]VGG. Rev: Constantine, standing on a quadriga, ascending right towards the hand of God.
