Coin, nummus AE1
A copper alloy nummus of Emperor Constantine I, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 306-337. The back of the coin depicts a prince. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 307-310.
Obv: Cuirassed bust of Constantine I, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CONSTANTINVS P F AVG. Rev: Prince, standing front, head left, holding a military standard in each hand. Rev inscription: PRINCIPI IVVENVTIS, PLN in exergue.
