Coin, nummus AE2
A copper alloy nummus of Emperor Licinius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 308-324. The back of the coin depicts Genius. This coin was minted in Londinium (modern day London), AD 313-314.
Obv: Cuirassed and laureate bust of Licinius, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP LICINIVS P F AVG. Rev: Genius, standing left, with a towered head, holding a patera (dish) in his right hand and a cornucopia in the left, a chlamys (cloak) is draped over his shoulder. Rev inscription: [GEN]O POP ROM, SF in field, PLN in exergue.
