Coin, dupondius
A copper alloy dupondius coin of Emperor Hadrian, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 117-138. The back of the coin depicts Moneta, the female personification of riches and wealth. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 119-121.
Obv: Radiate head of Hadrian, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP CAESAR] TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG PM TR P COS III. Rev: Moneta, standing left, holding scales in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: MONETA AVGVSTI. SC in field.
