An unmarked, silver etui with scissor-shaped profile. The lid is secured with twisted cords (originally red, now degraded in tone) attached to lugs on the back of the main case. The lower section is compartmentalized to house a pair of cut-steel scissors and an unmarked silver ear-scoop. The lid is engraved on the front with a naked woman and cornucopoeia; the back with foliate ornament (including tulip blooms). The base has a internal flange for the lid and is likewise engraved, with a winged putto at the top and foliate scrollworkSilver engraved case.
