A pair of men's shoes in dark brown suede, with a leather sole and stacked leather heel. The uppers are decorated with stitched raised tucks set in concentric lines, creating a wave pattern and are lined with cotton.
Oral was a brand name used by C.W.Horrell of Rushden, Northamptonshire. The shoes were bought at the shop Rose, run by a German-Jewish family from around 1917 to 1976.
