A copper alloy sestertius coin of Emperor Titus, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 79-81. The back of the coin depicts a mourning Jewish person. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 80-81.
Obv: Laureate head of Titus, facing left. Obv inscription: IMP T CAES VESP AVG PM TR P PP COS VIII. Rev: A bound Jewish man and a seated Jewish woman beside a palm tree. Rev inscription: IVD CAP, SC in exergue.
