A Late Bronze Age gold pennular bracelet dating 1,200 to 700 BCE. It is made from plain, solid wire with conical terminals. This bracelet in in two pieces, the other half is accession number A10204b.
In the Bronze Age shining gold may have been linked with the sun. The sun was a key part of their understanding about how the world worked. The sun was linked with life and fertility and the movement of the sun divided days but also the seasons and rhythm of the year.
