Coin, as
A copper alloy as coin of Emperor Vespasian, ruler of the Roman Empire AD 69-79. The back of the coin depicts Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. This coin was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon, France), AD 71.
Obv: Laureate head of Vespasian, facing right. Obv inscription: [IMP CAES]AR VESPASIAN AVG COS III. Rev: Victory, advancing left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm in the left. Rev inscription: VICT[ORIA] AVGVSTI, SC in field.
