Needle
A bone needle, of circular section, tapering to a point to at one end and terminating in a flattened, wedge-like head at the other end. Perforated at the end with a rectangular hole.
Needles came in all shapes and sizes and were an important part of domestic and craft life. Many clothes were made in the home but weavers and cloth-workers also needed them for their work.
