Feather curler
Bone feather curler in the form of a blade made from the longitudinal triangular sectioned slice of bovine, horse or red deer long bone. The bone is almost parallel sided, only tapering to a sharp point at one end. There are two diagonal grooves from the edge, the apex of the feather curler which forms an edge along the entire length of the blade. The tang has broken off.
