Handle, bowl handle
Curved handle made from a square-sectioned bar, with central knob, which has an incised X on its upper surface; handle also decorated on the top with parallel grooves, and on the inner face with incised parallel lines filled with circles. The ends of the handle form two curved brackets which were fixed to the rim of the vessel with rivets, which are still visible.
The handle is one of a pair (see 24108) which was attached to the rim of a large mixing bowl, curving above the rim.
