Zeppelin Raid on London
On 8 September 1915, a German airship raid on London caused more than half a million pounds worth of damage. This single attack accounted for half the damage caused by all air raids on Britain in 1915. Zeppelin L13, which managed to bomb central London, was the main culprit.
Christopher Clark depicted the incident for publication in The Sphere magazine.
