Paintings, Prints & Drawings — 1759
A man with a sack, a woman with a beer mug and a dog
This drawing, by Paul Sandby, was probably meant to be turned into a print for a further series of his 'London Cries'. However, it is not clear what either of these people sell. Despite making numerous studies, such as this one, Sandby never published more than the first series of twelve etchings.
