Inspired by the River Thames, design your own board game to take home and play in this sensory craft activity.

For millennia, Londoners have enjoyed fun and games. Mudlarks have discovered over 100 game counters and fragments of game boards from Roman London, giving us a glimpse into how our Roman ancestors played. Board games were often enjoyed in public baths, for example.

Inspired by the River Thames, design your own board game to take home in this craft activity. Who knows – maybe one day someone will discover it and display it in a museum.

Hooray, you're coming for free! Why not give a little back and donate when booking your ticket?
