Why should the kids have all the fun? Join in this summer's big dig activity with exclusive after hours adults-only sessions to immerse yourself in a mock archaeological dig.
Dance like no one's watching (or listening) and "dig the groove" of a themed playlist or two at our silent disco.
And if you need some quiet time, head for the chill space in our atmospheric and historic No. 1 Warehouse gallery overlooking West India Quay, where you can hang out with one of our expert hosts and handle some archaeological finds from the Thames.

You can choose from the following session times when buying your tickets. Make sure to double check the times on your ticket before you arrive.
Session one
Big dig: 6.30–7.30pm
Silent disco: 8.10–8.55pm
Session two
Big dig: 6.30–7.30pm
Silent disco: 9–9.45pm
Session three
Silent disco: 6.30–7.15pm
Big dig: 8.30–9.30pm
Session four
Silent disco: 7.20–8.05pm
Big dig: 8.30–9.30pm
To kick off your night at the museum, you can also access an exclusive after-hours opening of the Secrets of the Thames exhibition between 5–6.30pm at a special, discounted price of £13.50.
