Free activities for schools: Caribbean music histories
In October 2026, school groups visiting London Museum Docklands will have the opportunity to enjoy storytelling with George Philip, music and theatre educator. This drop-in activity is available to all school groups who have booked a self-led visit, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meet musical George
Join George as she delves in to her Trinidadian family’s musical history, from African chants to Calypso and Soca, and learn about how Black History has shaped the music of today in this interactive storytelling experience.
George will be in the Warehouse of the World gallery on the dates and times below.

We expect that sessions with George will be popular, so schools who have booked to visit the Warehouse of the World and City & River galleries will be given priority.
