Fire: the Houses of Parliament. Ruins of St Stephen's Chapel. Inscribed in ink: 'To Lady Manners Sutton, This view of the speakers cloisters & oratory (built in the reign of Henry VIII by Dr. Chambers the last Dean of St. Stephen's) as they appeared from the N.E. corner of the Quandrangle after the destructive fire of 16th Oct 1834'.
