Plans of London Bridge exclusive of the Houses . . . 1746
Plans for London Bridge without the houses and (1) with reduced piers ("sterlings") and (2) with fewer piers; the plans - by Charles Labelye - were not adopted. When the houses were cleared in 1758-62, two central arches were combined to aid navigation. The engraving, made for Maitland's History of London, includes full commentary on the plans.
