Behind a table sit and stand 21 protestant reformers, named in a key, (Perkins, Prague, Bucer, Martyr, Zuinglius, Knox, Zanchi, Bulinger, Occlampadius, Buxtorf, Bolton, Arminius, Wickliff, Beza, Calvin, Luther, Melancthon, Aquinas, Molern, Grotius, Huss). On the table is the "Candle of Reformation", while in front of it stand a friar, the Pope and the devil (in broad-rimmed hat and with a dog), with the legend "We cannot blow it out".
