Free Grammar School, St Olave's, Southwark
Free Grammar School, St Olave's, Southwark. An octagonal tower stands between two wings at right angles to each other - on the right a chapel, on the left the school buildings. A master in academic dress and several boys are seen outside. St Olave's Grammar School stood in Tooley [corruption of 'St Olave's'] Street but moved to Orpington in 1968. The architect's name, James Field is engraved in the bottom left of the image.
