Clark's Scenes in Douglas
Toy theatre sheets published by Clark and sold in 'penny packet' form with the complete play and characters being published and sold on one or two sheets of poor quality paper. Items labelled 'a' & 'b' comprise printed paper packets in which the sheets would be stored and sold. 'c' is a complete play sheet comprising three uncoloured scenery and wings plates and 1 page of the printed words for the play. 'd' is also a multiple sheet with 2 character plates and 2 scenery plates. 'e' is a coloured single scenery plate cut from a larger sheet marked 'scene 1 & back of scene 5 No 5'. 'f' is a coloured scenery plate marked 'cut scene for scene 5 No 6'. 'g' is also a cut coloured scenery plate 'scene 2 and back of scene 2 & 4 No 9' Sheet 'h' is a cut scenery plate 'scene 2 & 4 set Scene No 11' 'i' is a cut from a larger sheet and printed with words from the play scenes 1-v 'j' is also printed with words from scenes 1-v and 'k' printed with page 2 of the playbook from the end of Act 2-Act 5'.
