Stereoscopic ambrotype, two portraits side by side. Masked with decorative coloured paper and sealed on reverse. Image depicts a woman in a full length dress reclining in a chair and posed looking at the camera. Made in the 1850s and 60s by William Henry Stratton, an amateur photographer who lived in South London.
