The devastation occasioned by the rioters of London firing the new goal of Newgate and burning Mr Ackerman's furniture June 6th 1780. The Gordon Riots, a large bonfire has been built upon which furniture is flung, men wave hats, bludgeons and pick-axes. A flag is inscribed 'no popery'. Published by Alex Hogg, 16 Paternoster Row c. June 1780.
