Paintings, Prints & Drawings — C. 1775
Front of Drury-Lane Theatre
Front elevation of Drury Lane Theatre - Wren's design, as built in 1672-4 and burnt down in 1809. Same as Z1152. Apparently one of a pair alongside each other but the right-hand one has been cut off, leaving the broken inscription "Engraved for Harrison" [Harrison's History of London] above the picture to the right.
