The trial of Warren Hastings: Hastings pours gold from his turban/cornucopia into an opening in the belly of his ally the Lord Chancellor, Lord (Edward) Thurlow, represented as the globe. Thurlow's words "LACK a day" pun on "lakh" = 100,000 (rupees). BM Satire catalogue no. 7275.
