Remains of the Manor House, denominated the Lordship of Toten-Hall; now vulgarly called Tottenham Court, and occupied by the Adam and Eve Tea House and Gardens
Remains of the Manor House of Toten-hall, on the corner of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. There is a Plan of the Vicinity and a short history of the ownership of the site. The engraving shows an interior courtyard of a public house, with the words "Tea Coffee Fine Bottle Porter Ale Cyder &c" displayed. There are weeds on the roof, a bird in a cage on a wall, two customers and a dog.
