A woman in a wooden cage on London Bridge. She is pointed at by a small crowd before her.
Illustration to Foxe's Book of Martrys. According to Fox, a woman was imprisoned in a cage on old London bridge in April 1555 for refusing to pray at St Magnus the Martyr for teh recently deceased Pope Julius III.
