A Representation of the Capital Figures of Bethlem Hospital Gate, London
Print of Caius Cibber's 'Melancholy'/'Madness' sculptures which were placed above the pediment of Bethlem Hospital. The plate is cut down from a folio sheet illustration for William Thornton's Survey of London (1784). Its distinctive, engraved bead and band work frame is also cropped.
