The Coronation Banquet of George IV in Westminster Hall
George IV's coronation banquet in Westminster Hall. Two rows of tables run the length of the hall, between which are three horsement wearing crowns and some attendants with covered dishes. Above them two temporary panelled galleries on each side of the hall house many rows of seats, occupied predominantly by women, the men being at the tables. Two rows of chandeliers hang from the mediaeval wooden roof.
