Child's shoe
This pair of classic Mary Jane shoes are made from red leather and feature a bar strap that fastens over the top of the child’s foot with a small red button. The sole is secured into place with tiny metal pins. The CC41 Utility mark is stamped on the other sole. The marker’s mark ‘Softa Step’ has been stamped in gold on the inner sole, Softa Step were a subsidiary company of Ball Haldinstein, a large shoe manufacturer based in Norwich.
