Foot of cloth hose or shoe lining, woven brown wool in plain and 2/2 twill. Yarn diameter plain: 0.7mm, 2 ply, 9 threads per cm; yarn diameter 2/2 twill: 0.2 mm, S spun, S1: 20-21 thread per cm; S2 18-20 threads per cm. Colour: 10 YR 2/2 very dark brown, 3/2 very dark grey brown. Cut fragments of different weave types sewn together with running stitch and overstitch to create a multi-coloured covering.
