Stocking stitch knitted earflap, cut edge on reverse. Along bottom edge 17 stitch holes 0.2 diameter, the edge below the stitches appears to be cut. Decreasing stitches from widest point. Yarn diameter: 2.0-2.1 mm, 2 ply Z spun.
The piece was bought by the London Museum in 1924 and no further find details are known.
