Cap fragment, earflap
Woollen ear flap for a child's cap. Knitted in stocking stitch, 10 stitch holes visible at narrow end, sewn together at widest end decreasing stitches from wide end. Two small pieces of linen thread in stitch holes. Yarn diameter: 1.3-1.5mm, 2 ply.
The piece was bought by the London Museum in 1924 and no further find details are known.
