Child's underdress, petticoat
Child's petticoat worn by a girl aged about 12 years with day wear garments. Three quarter length as probably the wearer had not yet worn full length gowns. Probably domestic make, only hand sewing on garment is crudely executed. Marked on inside left seam at centre back opening: "N. Edwards. '54".
