Flag
Flag of the Salvation Army with a blue border and central red panel printed with the Army's war cry 'Blood and Fire' within a yellow star. The red panel symbolises the blood shed by Jesus on the cross, the yellow star for the fire of the Holy Spirit and the blue border for the purity of God. Flags are carried by members of the Salvation Army on marches and during ceremonies, such as the 'swearing-in' of soldiers.
