Waistcoat
Waistcoat, with no collar or sleeves. Fronts of finely ribbed ivory silk, embroidered in pastel coloured silks with an all-over spot and sprig design, with a border of satin stitch and spots, with floral sprays interspersed between each buttonhole. A satin stitch dog tugs at the lowest floral spray at the bottom of the centre front closing at each side. Embroidery continues on flapped pockets at hip level, the hem embroidered with scene of trees and flowers with a goat and a dog, at each side. Back of cream coloured fustian, with a short vent and tapes to adjust fit down centre back.
